Jody Yeargan Family Dentistry
Jody L. Yeargan DDS
After honorably serving in the United States Army for 4 years, and in Operation Desert Storm, Dr. Yeargan completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at West Virginia University. He was then admitted to the West Virginia University School of Dentistry where he received his DDS in 2002. After two years of continuuing study in general dentistry, Dr. Yeargan purchased his practice from Dr. Alan Bream. He has been practicing in Charlottesville since 2004.
Dr. Yeargan has taken extensive continuuing education courses to provide a wide variety of quality dental care to all of his patients. On average he completes 65+ hours of extra courses per year so that he can offer the most modern methods in his practice. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and is a fellow in the American Dental Implant Association. He offers services to patients of all ages in cosmetic and general dentistry.
In his spare time Dr. Yeargan enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and two sons, Gabe and Sam. His hobbies include soccer, photography, model airplane building, and woodworking.
Valerie Jenkins - Scheduling and Financial Coordinator
Valerie has been with Dr. Yeargan since 2007, and is a highly valued member of his team. Valerie is usually the friendly voice that you will hear on the phone at our office. She has been in the dental field for 14 years and has worked variously as a dental assistant, and front office coordinator. She is also wonderful at navigating the complicated world of dental insurance for our practice. She is a former secretary of the Virginia Dental Assistant's Association, and has a vast amount of knowledge in general dentistry.
Valerie is originally from Greene County, and lives in Ruckersville with her children, and family. Her hobbies include jewelry making, cooking, and she is an animal lover as well. She is also a representative for Thirty-One products in the Ruckersville, and Charlottesville area.
Christine Holmes - Registered Dental Hygienist
Chris has been with Dr. Yeargan since 2009 as our hygienist, and is well loved by our patients.
